Questions?

Ryder has this funny habit the past few weeks of talking in questions. He actually asks us questions that he wants an answer to all the time, which he always has. But now he also does this strange thing where he essentially makes statements, but phrases them as questions. He'll say to us things like "Would you like a drink of water?" meaning "I would like a drink of water," or "Should we go play in the sandbox now?" meaning "We should go play in the sandbox now." I think that he's trying to tell us what we're supposed to be saying, which is why it comes out as a question and why sometimes he gives us a response. It's kind of strange and quite funny. He also asks himself questions, which is even more humorous. We'll be walking to the pool and he'll say, "Ryder, do you see the pool yet? Do you see it, Ryder? Oh, there it is." Or he'll say, "Ryder, what is that? Do you know what it is? Oh, it's a garbage truck, Ryder." It's a crack up!
