In the past week, Ryder has started using "I" correctly almost all the time and has mostly stopped talking in the third person. The funny thing is that he's stopped using "me" and "my," which he used to use correctly all the time. He's replaced them strictly with "I'm," I think since he's using "I" now. So now everything sounds something like this:
"I'm going to hold I'm cozy on I'm lap."
"I want to have I'm own crackers."
"Put I'm down to go get a book."
"Mommy, let I'm see that picture."
I know it's just evidence of him testing out his new word skills and figuring out how they work, so it's actually progress, but it's super-funny.
