It cracks me up! For the past few months whenever Ryder is asking for something politely, he will finish whatever he is saying with, "You may." And then it usually ends with "Thank you!" Things sound like:
"May I please have a drink of your water? You may. Thank you!"
"Please can I take a train in the car? You may. Thank you!"
"I want to wear a blue shirt please. You may. Thank you!"
"Please can I have a bite of Daddy's fish? You may. Thank you!"
It's like he's saying, "I asked politely, so you should say yes." Quite cute!
