Potty Success

Ryder has been doing great on his potty. The funny thing is Drew and I haven't been doing anything about it, even talking to him about it. I mean, we did before and we have potty books, but we haven't talked a bout him going on the potty for quite a while. We did try when he was really little--like a year ago--but moving derailed that plan it seemed, so we didn't make a big deal out of it. So we haven't even been asking him if he wants to go or anything. Especially with the baby coming it seemed like not the best time. But in the past few weeks, when he plays naked at night before he gets his jammies on, he's been going pee on the potty every few nights and tonight he even went poop in the potty. And then he clapped and said, "Yeah, Ryder did it!" I kind of have the attitude of "If he does it, that's great. If not, we can wait. I'm in no hurry." But he seems to be taking it on by himself. At least when he's not wearing diapers. Maybe we just need a few naked days. I guess I can only say, "Yeah, Ryder!"
