We're at 37 weeks now!

OK, today is 37 weeks, so we're within the "normal due date" range. Though as I said before, I really don't expect the baby to come now! Not that I don't want to meet that sweet baby, but I could use a LITTLE more time. I'm not pushing for overdue, but at least till we get much closer to Christmas. Plus, my sister is coming around the 20th and I really want her to be here, so I'm not planning on it till at least then--like I can plan anything about this, but that's MY plan. We'll just have to see what the baby's plan is!

As for how thing are going, we're still truckin' along pretty much the same. I do notice that this baby has hiccups more than I remember Ryder having, but not too much. And I'm getting a few more Braxton-Hicks contractions when I'm walking around a lot, but they don't hurt at all and go away when I stop moving around. And the stinkin' hemorrhoids that I had the other day have settled down, so hopefully they won't be too much of a pain again. I have noticed the baby is not kicking quite so hard or wiggling around quite so much. Still plenty of movement, but not as painful in the cramped quarters as it was before because the wiggles aren't quite so extreme. When I went to the appointment last week, I got to feel the baby's head facing down and our midwife showed me where the rest of the body is. And it's just in the position that I thought and that the baby is in pretty much all the time. And since it's been that way for quite a while, I think it's settled in now. I'm measuring right on schedule too. And finally growing out a little bit since the baby really can't get any higher. I noticed it so much higher earlier on this time than with Ryder. And apparently I'm doing pretty well because the midwife said, "You're very spry," when I was there, which I guess means that I'm still active and agile, but I thought was funny stuff.

You look great Kim! I pray that all goes well when the little one decides to come. Erin
