My sister came into town this weekend so that she and my parents could host a "welcoming party" for Carter on Saturday. We had a bunch of friends come by to meet Carter and visit for the afternoon--and enjoy a ton of yummy snacks! It was wonderful since we've been so busy between the baby and holidays that I feel like we haven't seen anyone since before Thanksgiving really. So it was a good chance to catch up with everyone and show off our newest addition. Ryder thoroughly enjoyed playing with his friends who came to the party and opening presents for himself and Carter. (He's enjoying this double-duty on the present opening--I'm not sure he'll be too pleased once she's gets big enough to open her own presents!)
