Mac the dog

When Jenn and Steve were here over the holidays, they brought their dog Mac (who's a male)with them. One day we were coming home and Mac was crated in the garage. As we pulled in, Ryder said, "There's Mac! Now we will see her." So I said, "We'll see him." And Ryder replied, "Yes, we'll see her." So I explained, "No, we'll see him. You say him because Mac's a boy." At which point Ryder looked at me like I was nuts and said in this 'you must be joking voice', "No! Mac is a DOG!" We laughed and laughed!
