Mom

I'm guessing it's because Ryder hears Drew and I calling my mom Mom (since for most kids it's pretty early to make the switch), but Ryder has started calling me Mom all the time. He used to call me Mommy all the time with a Mom thrown in every few days. For the past week, however, he's been only calling me Mom. Every once in a while, I get a Mommy, but it's normally in connection with a Mom, like this morning when he told me "Mommy, we should go downstairs, Mom." It always strikes me as kind of funny, but it also makes me a little sad because it's a tiny piece of his babyhood slipping away.
