Carter's First Swim

Carter's first dunk--she's under the water there!


Carter had a wonderful first swim! Since it's winter, she had to wait a while to get a swim (Ryder was swimming at less than a month), but the hotel this weekend had a nice warm pool for a dip. Carter loved the water and was really calm and engaged, though she wasn't crazy about being dunked--but we'll keep at it. And she has the most adorable swimsuit!! Ryder is still a little hesitant about going under, though hopefully that will get better this summer. (It's kind of frustrating since he was so thrilled with swimming under the water when he was one, but last summer he just wasn't into it.) It was nice for him to see Owen and Carter going under--maybe the "peer pressure" will encourage him!
