I love to see his great problem-solving skills!

Ryder and I were playing yesterday with his barn balance. It is a balance that tips and has two pegs on each side, and on each peg stacks 2 rings and a head. While we were playing, I took the pieces off one of my pegs and then asked him how we could make it balance. He told me that I could put my pieces back on and then it would balance. So we tested that idea, which of course worked. Then I took the my pieces back off one of my pegs and asked him to find a different way we could make it balance. He immediately said, "Well, if I took mine off this one, then they would balance." What awesome problem-solving skills to be able to come up with a SECOND solution to the problem!
