Is clear a color?

The other day, I asked Ryder what his favorite color is right now, knowing full well from all the things that he picks that it's green and yellow. Well, he informed me, "ALL the colors are my favorite, Mommy. I like all of them, even silver and gold. Except for clear. Clear's not really a color, is it Mommy?" When I asked him if green and yellow were his extra-special favorites, he immediately replied, "Oh yes!" But I'm glad to know he's being open-minded about the whole thing!
