Drew's birthday was Ryder's first bowling experience. Luckily, they had the kiddie ramps, so he was able to "bowl" himself. Ryder let Grandpa and Daddy help him for the first few times, but then insisted on doing it himself. However, he couldn't lift the ball, so he needed help carrying the ball to the ramp. Then he would reposition the ramp himself (thank goodness for the bumpers too!) and push the ball down. He didn't even want anyone to stand with him. It took me a while to convince him to smile for the camera then bowl, rather than pushing the ball while looking at the camera instead of the pins. Despite the ramp, there is SOME aiming involved! Because of the ramps and the bumpers, Ryder actually did quite well.
