Poor sick little boy

Last night at bedtime, Ryder told me that his ear hurt. And he spiked a 103.9 fever during the night. So today we took a trip to the doctor. The doctor looked in his ear and said, "Well that one's red and infected." Oh, that was the ear he wasn't complaining about. Trouble. Turns out he has a DOUBLE ear infection. It's also his first ear infection. And his second, I guess. Unfortunately, this is one of those instances when you want to avoid the "go big or go home" syndrome. Oh well. He's miserable now, but hopefully the meds will get it kicked soon.
