Ryder after tasting the April Fools dinner I made. I made "cupcakes" from meatloaf made with mashed potato frosting. I also made "grilled cheese" from pound cake and frosting. The kids loved the grilled cheese, but were less than crazy about the cupcakes. Here's the conversation Carter and I had the day after:
Me: "Carter, did you like the grilled cheese made from cake and frosting for April Fools?"
Carter: "Yah!"
Me: "And how about the cupcakes made from mashed potatoes and meatloaf?"
Carter: "Ummm...not really. Actually, it was disgusting."
