Our Pre-Trip Bedtime Conversation

As I was tucking the kids into bed tonight before Drew, Skylar and I leave for Paris for 10 days tomorrow morning, this is the conversation we had:
Me (teasing): Have a little bit of fun with Grandma and Grandpa while we're gone.
Carter: No, Mommy. We're going to have lots of fun!
Me: OK, have lots of fun!
Carter: Don't worry, Mommy. We'll have fun with you sometime, too.
Ryder: Mommy, are Grandma and Grandpa ever going to be gone so we will stay with just you?
Me: Yes, when I come back from my trip.
Ryder: Good. We'll have fun then. But Grandma and Grandpa are more fun than you.
Me: Really? I'll be sure to tell them that.
Ryder:  Good. I'm sure they'll be happy to hear that!
