Ryder, I'm glad "that's cool" with you

We were at the midwife this morning for our 14 week appointment. While we were listening to the baby's heartbeat, our midwife was explaining to Ryder that there was a baby in a special place in Mommy's tummy and that noise was the baby's heartbeat and that the baby would grow and make Mommy's tummy grow and that eventually the baby would come out and then we would have a little baby. To which Ryder replied, "That's cool." We haven't really been talking about the baby yet with him since it's still so far away (I know it's far for him, but it's hard to believe it's still 1/4 of his life away!), but I'm glad to know that he thinks it's cool. Not that I expected him to feel any differently since he's an easy-going kid who likes just about anything, but I thought his thoughts on the matter were funny!
