What's that, Mommy? Mommy, what are these?

It has been constant the past month or so. Ryder is not into the "why" phase yet, but he is definitely in the "what's that" phase. When he's being silly, he asks about things that he already knows the answer to, but most often he asks about stuff that he seems genuinely curious about. He will find the tiniest or most obscure thing (today it was the tiny dots of the bottom of the toy pig's feet, yesterday it was a small sign on our kitchen window sill and the ridges on the edge of the sippy of cip lid among numerous other things) and ask what they are. He wants to know about everything!
