Okay...

Ryder has recently started doing this hysterical thing! Whenever we're having a disagreement about doing something, like reading books while we eat dinner or going to the pool when it's too cold, after talking for a little while he'll just start saying what he wants to do in a very pleading, followed by, "Okay" in a very resigned voice. We think that the "Okay" is supposed to be coming from us! It goes something like this:

Ryder: Let's go to the park!
Drew: But it's too dark now for the park.
Ryder: It's time for the park now.
Drew: We'll have to go tomorrow since it's too dark now.
Ryder: Just let's go to the park for a while. Okay...

I think it's his way of ending the conversation in his favor. The different voices that accompany the various parts of this conversation are so funny that it's normally all Drew and I can do to hide the fact that we're laughing as soon as he turns around!
