Carter's one month check-up

Carter's doing wonderful, which was verified at her check-up last Wednesday. She's getting all her newborn and one-month shots at two months since we'd rather that she be on the older end of the window for that stuff, it was an easy appointment. All she did was get weighed, measured and looked over. She now weighs 9 pounds 1 ounce, which is good gaining. (She was born at 6lb 11oz, only dropped to 6lb 7oz at 2 days, and was up to 8lb at two weeks.) She's in a higher percentile for weight and the lower percentiles for length and head circumference. That's what happened with Ryder and his weight tapered off so that he ended up in the lower end for all the percentages, which is what we and the doctor expect to happen to Carter. So overall she's looking great!
