I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore
It always amazes me when I get these development emails and they say "At 31 months, your child should be using 2 or 3 words sentences." Really? I know Ryder has always been very verbal, but that still surprises me. Especially since the day I got that email I counted a 17 word sentence from him. While reading a farm truck book, he told me, "I have a harvester in my book that Grandma was reading at breakfast while I was eating." (referring to another farm book we have) And that's not really out of the ordinary. I guess I've just gotten so used to the long sentences and the big vocabulary that that's what I expect from him now.
