Sorting?

Yesterday, I was working upstairs putting away laundry when Ryder brought up his jar of sorting animals and asked me to open the jar so he could do some sorting. The animals are 5 different colors and 5 different animals, in all combinations. So he took the jar downstairs and was working hard for quite a while. When I came down later, this is what I found. He had gotten out bowls to sort the animals into, which is what we typically do when we sort. Except he had gotten out one bowl for each of the animals and "sorted" each animal into its own bowl. At least it kept him busy and he cleaned it up. Sure, there were a ton of extra bowls to wash, but there has to be some price for him entertaining himself so well for so long!
