We're teaching him right
Today we were shopping for post-Valentine clearance at Target. The aisle we were in also had (across from the clearance) the big packs of candy--the boxes of chocolates, movie theater sized boxes of candies, etc. The aisle was crowded, so I parked the kids on the candy side of the aisle and turned my back so that I could look at the Valentine stuff. A minute later, Ryder called, "Hey Mommy!" When I turned around, he was holding a bag a chocolates and told me, "This says 'Ghiradelli'!" Which it totally did. Another lady in the aisle laughed and said, "That's impressive." To which I replied, "Well, at least he knows his chocolate!" But I have to say that even I was impressed. I mean, the kid does love chocolate. And he eats Ghiradelli chocolate sometimes. But I didn't realize that he even knew the word Ghiradelli, much less could recognize it. At least he knows the good stuff when he sees it!
