Ryder at 3 years 3 months

Ryder's biggest change this month is that his main fascination has finally shifted from trains to construction. Before, his love was definitely trains, which was supplemented by a liking of construction trucks. Now, he constantly plays construction, though he still enjoys playing trains sometimes. But construction is really where it's at. He pretends to be Bob the Builder and Hard Hat Harry, pretends our house is a construction site, insists that we all be construction workers, does "work" with his trucks, pretends our house is a demolition site, informs me what construction workers do and don't do, etc. Ryder loves to dance on his trampoline and to play with Carter, though mostly on his terms. He is doing a fantastic job learning his letters and numbers. He is now able to name all the upper case letters, all the single digit numerals most of the lower case letters. He still loves his cozy, though a few times he has been to class by himself without it and has been fine. His favorite food is all types of seafood and he has been telling us recently that he doesn't like vegetables, though he still continues to eat them.
