We spent 4 days last week in California visiting Drew's mom and brother at their new places in Newport Beach. Drew's brother just graduated from Yale and got a job at a real estate development firm . He's sharing a cute little house with a friend. Drew's parents have been thinking about getting a second place for a while and are renting an apartment in Newport (just a couple miles from Cameron's place) to see if they actually use it. The apartment is cute and just across the street from a little beach (on the canals because there's a few barrier islands before the open ocean in that spot). We took Ryder to the beach twice and enjoyed walking around Balboa Island, doing a little shopping, and even got to see some B-school friends and their new little girl. A busy few days, but very nice.
